For the evaluate part I also created another mind map. Instead, this time I used the map to show the different steps of how to clean a dish. I know this seems pretty basic, but in your head you are always thinking about what comes next after you are done with each step.
The last part it asked us to visit a website that helped think cognitively and explored different ideas. Exploratorium is a museum of experience. The thing that interests me about this website is, you don't have to specifically visit this museum to know what's inside. It has different links that you can click on to find out more information. Looking through the different sites, the one that caught my attention was the Tactile Dome. The name its self sounds pretty cool. According to the website this dome is designed for you to be in complete darkness. You never know if you are going to slide, turn, bump, etc. This dome is created to develop your senses (mostly touch). Overall this site gives a lot of information on the museum and you can see how it helps people cognitively.

Erin, I liked the colors in your create assignment. I also liked the details in the create portion as well. The flow of your "how to do" chart was also great. I would maybe add more details about what you explored in the relate portion.
ReplyDeleteI thought the concept map was thorough and well thought out.
ReplyDeleteI thought the sub topics were very important for learning.
Step by step is structured well.
your visuals were really good. I did not think to make a concept map for the step by step instruction portion of this. You projected your voice very well and showed confidence. I would suggest speaking more toward the audience rather than the prof. Despite this I think you did very well.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your concept maps, they were very colorful and pretty to view. I also liked how you incorporated ways that you learn and how you use these things to make learning easier for you. Your explanation were very clear and presentable. To add to this assignment, you might want to explain the importance behind knowing the steps of washing a dish. What happens if you skip a step?
